God cares about our spiritual growth. Perhaps one of the Kingdom's best-kept secrets is that God keeps records of our prayers and gifts. Did you know that there is scriptural evidence that He remembers the generosity we show? One such reference is found in Acts 10:4 “The angel answered, “Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come up as a memorial offering before God…” (This letter is a reminder that God remembers what you’ve given - He never forgets)
A Roman, yet God-fearing Centurion in Caesarea named Cornelius received a visitation from an angel who gave him instructions for his spiritual growth. He was to send for Peter, who would tell him about the next steps he and his family should take. God would go on to embed this Centurion in Caesarea as a part of the growing movement that would change Rome and the world.
The generosity you’ve shown to 1930 (LAM) over the years has blessed many. Whether you receive an angelic visitation is God’s decision. But if it were up to me, I’d have you on the list! Thank you for the kindness you’ve shown to people who will never be able to repay you.
Javier sent me a few photos from Wings of Hope and the children who eat at the table you provide. Your gifts come up to God as a memorial, but I wanted you to have some pictures as a reminder of what you do. I hope you enjoy them.
The Gathering is gathering steam. This past week, we finished the ground prep, and we will now begin hauling gravel for a parking lot. Each load will cost 375.00 and we need an estimated 50 of them. Would you consider buying any? The concrete forms for the 40 x 80 slab will be set soon as we prepare to build a meeting place. Please continue to lift in prayer those who will gather to hear a simple gospel message.
Be on the lookout for an angel stopping by with directions for your spiritual journey - you never know. From the Table to the Arena, and from the Gathering to the round pen, we will spread the word of His return.
